*NEW* CORD Education Consult Service

CORD’s Education Committee is excited to announce the Education Consult Service, aka the ECS!

The ECS is designed to help program leaders take advantage of the collective mind and experience of their peers within the CORD community. There is no reason to agonize over residency administration issues and reinvent the wheel when CORD includes hundreds of colleagues who have dealt with similar concerns and are able to provide guidance. The ECS is intended to connect residency program members with expert consultants in a variety of residency-related content areas in an effort to relay best practices and expert-recommended solutions to common residency program issues. This service is free to all CORD members.

The content areas for the ECS include:

  • Program Design and Management
  • Leadership Skills
  • Managing Accreditation
  • Faculty Skills Development
  • Curriculum
  • Teaching Methods
  • Resident Interface

We have a diverse, qualified group of consultants ready to help with your needs. Given the broad geographic diversity of ECS consultants, most consultations will occur remotely. Communication and recommendations will be provided digitally and, with the consent of the consulting program, archived (with or without de-identification) for future reference.
